What motivates me is curiosity. They say curiosity killed the cat—but thankfully, I’m human. Or at least as human as a fly on the wall can get. That curiosity makes me lean in to overhear life’s voices, pauses, and odd little truths, and then scribble them down before they escape. Writing, for me, is simply the joy of finding out what’s hiding in plain sight—and sharing it so others can smile, nod, or see themselves in those small reflections.
My marks on the world are hardly worth talking about. I haven’t created anything amazing—except maybe that one time I made an amazing breakfast out of leftovers when my family was away. All I’ve really done is write down a few words, little observations, and some life insights. And hopefully, they leave, if not a mark, at least a tiny dot in your heart.
